Imagine for a moment what a fantastic proposition this is--twentieth century life preserved in a Time Capsule Monument. From one hundred to a thousand years after the sealing of the monument, your time capsule cylinder can be opened by your descendants--artifacts, photos, audio messages, etc. Your future relatives will see you, hear your voice, know your life and touch a piece of you.

Yes, people do and can store their own personal time capsules anywhere. However, they are not guaranteed that somewhere down the road it will be found. And if so, who will find it?

We are doing everything possible to secure the contents of the United States Time Capsule Monument. Due to the overwhelming demand for access to personal time capsule cylinders prior to the year 3000, the monument has now been designed so that when it is sealed, the only way to remove the contents of the millenium chambers is to completely dismantle the entire structure. Yet, it is also designed so that access can be gained to a specific area which will store centennial time capsule cylinders.  There will be no internal access to any of the chambers (including the centennial chambers) for they will be all separated by thick walls of glass, plastic, concrete and steel plus: the halls to the centennial chambers will be filled with sand.

So, now here is your chance to tell the story of your life to the future, a specific relative, or to humanity as a whole. Tell them about your home, your beliefs, your life. Allow them to hear your voice, and see your face. The information in your personal capsule is your private envoy to the future.

     The  United States Time Capsule Monument is being constructed in the Beautiful Boston Mountain Range in Winslow, Arkansas between Fort Smith and Fayetteville, Arkansas. This location was chosen due to the expected survivability of the area. It is earthquake free, high in altitude, has mild seasons, it is isolated from any military targets, and it is centrally located in the United States.
